British used plate carrier?

Hey guys,

I have a possible deal pending. It is for OD green Black Ops (Afghanistan tactical company) plate carrier that has been over painted with tan. The guy said that he heard that it came from British paratrooper that was in Afghanistan.

So I have a question for everyone, have anybody seen any photos or know of that Paratroopers use plate carriers? Most of photos I've seen, they used Osprey Body Armor.

I recently got this plate carrier. The tags have been removed but it looks very much like blackhawk design so assuming it is BHI. I discovered that this type of plate carrier was quite popular with Navy Seals. Take a look at the following reference

This came out of a team room's "junk pile".... 7th groups is heading to Ft.Walton (Eglin AFB), and they are cleaning out the house @ Ft. Bragg. Any input is welcome....
picked this up, no plates, but from a local gear seller at the local gun show; it was cheap enough to warrant picking it up.. all I can find online is that this is the I/O vest before Blackwater Gear got bought by a company who put the gear under Uncle
Hey all got this from my buddy, bought it in Afganistan paid 40.00 bucks for it, will post some close up of the tag paul
