Fixing Vampire teeth bork in patch 1.22 (Fixed in patch 1.24)

I'm putting this out in case people are still having this leftover problem after updating to the latest patch, or for anyone still using 1.22.

When a new Sim becomes a vampire, or a newly generated vampire Sim appears in the neighborhood (such as creating a new Bridgeport save), vampires will have all their powers, glowy pale skin and shiny eyes, but their teeth won't appear. This is a real annoyance since...

I had the game downloaded fine witth the first v8 patch now the fixed v8 patch doesn't work. What should i do? Does any1 have the first v8 patch link?

I found that changing the sound options in Windows Control panel to CD quality rather than Studio fix's the crash to desktop with no error bug. This is the same fix as in COD4. System is Win 7 X64, Q9550 @ 4.0, 8gb patriot viper, GTX 295, onboard
