So I went to the safari zone and in one meadow zone (1 of 6 ) I placed 10 Forrest objects and 14 peak objects. i understand that it takes 70 days for riolu to show up.. can i change the date on the ds for it to be quicker or will that not work at all?

When I log in, it brings me to the "Select Server" page. But when I select a server, it stays at "Connecting. Please Wait." and doesn't move any further. Is there a way to resolve this?
